How to support DEF

Your support is important to us. Because we have begun our activities quite recently, we are not yet receiving any grants from public sources and rely on private support exclusively. At the moment, there are several ways of supporting our work. We are continuously developing new support networks and strategies.

YOU CAN SUPPORT DEF IN MANY WAYS:

1. Donate to DEF
The Deaf Empowerment Foundation is a recognized non-profit foundation (Dutch “Stichting voor algemene nut”) in the Netherlands. DEF’s registration number under the authority of Central Gelderland is 09146932. Donations to Stichting DEF are tax-deductible under Dutch taxation law. 2. Buy books from Ishara Press

All profits from Ishara Press publications support DEF projects. We publish both peer reviewed academic works and educational materials in the area of sign language. We particularly support deaf authors in publishing their work. Details on this website, and on www.def-intl.org/ishara
